Associated Builders and Contractors of Michigan (ABC-MI) is a statewide trade association representing nearly 1,000 merit shop contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and related firms across Michigan. ABC of Michigan's membership is comprised primarily of firms in the industrial and commercial building industry.
ABC of Michigan is devoted exclusively to the advancement of the merit shop construction philosophy which encourages open competition and a free enterprise approach that awards contracts based solely on merit regardless of labor affiliation. ABC of Michigan is the construction industry's voice with the state government and provides services such as legal advocacy, networking opportunities, a statewide membership directory, assistance with labor problems and group affinity programs.

Chris is President & CEO of ABC of Michigan. He previously served as Regional Political Manager for ABC National and worked in both the Michigan House and Senate. Chris oversees state governmental affairs for ABC and works in partnership with the local chapters to defend and advance the legislative and political goals of the Merit Shop, as well as other statewide matters.

She came to ABC with several years experience in the association sector in Michigan and brings expertise in professional association management and business management. Mary works with the ABC of Michigan committees in expanding our Member Services to increase the value of your state membership, while also functioning as the administrator of the office.
