Quick Ways to Stay Connected
The ABC of Michigan staff is very involved in politics in Lansing - and we need your help!
Keep an eye out for ABC Action Alerts. You can
sign up to receive these alerts directly in your email,
download the ABC Action App, watch for special editions of
Merit Minute,
Facebook,
Twitter, and
LinkedIn messages, and more.
Our interactive online
Legislative Action Center also allows you to quickly and easily contact any or all of your state and federal elected officials on issues of key interest to ABC members.
Because ABC of Michigan members have built a culture of engagement, occasionally elected officials will ask for our members' feedback on proposed legislation that affects you and your business. We'll make sure to get these requests to you so that you can engage directly with your legislators.
Take it to the Next Level
- Check out the Grassroots Toolkit for resources on setting up meetings and site visits with legislators, information for talking with your employees about Merit Shop issues, and more.
- Consider joining our ABC of Michigan Government Affairs Committee, which meets regularly to shape policy positions for the whole association.
- Make sure to attend our annual state Legislative Day, which gives you opportunities to meet directly with legislators, connect with other ABC members from across the state, and listen in on discussions about elections, the political environment, legislation, and more.
